Audience Profile

Thanks to the research that I have conducted to see how the public and audiences would react to my video. I have being able to find my typical audience member.

This is Doug, he is 18 years old and doing his second year at Hartlepool sixth Form College. He is a great enthusiast of music, media and film doing qualifications in all of them at said college. He is also in a band himself which makes him heavily inspired by alternative and experimental rock. He is also very heavily involved in the production of each song his bands which means he will have a lot of intellect into ho songs should be presented to the audience in an entertaining manner. He is a huge fan of narrative based music videos which push the boundaries visually and aesthetically.

Some of Doug's favourite experimental bands include Pink Floyd Gorrilaz, Portishead, Death Grips and Swans. This is the genre and type of music my song is based of. Some of his favourite music videos are from other genres but fit with the type of artistic style I am trying to achieve. Some of these videos include Earl Sweashirt's "Hive", James Blakes "Life Round Here (remix)" and Flying Lotus' "Tiny Tortures."
